About Me
My name is Emilio Hernandez
I am a 16 year old of Puerto Rican descent with a strong passion for my island. I want to share this with others to promote and cultivate the Puerto Rican culture in New Jersey. I founded the Youth Ricans non-profit organization as a way to give back to the community and create positive change.

Puerto Rican Day Parade Organization
With the help of the Puerto Rican Day Parade Organization, we can grow our Puerto Rican community here in Newark and in NJ. The Youth Ricans can contribute to the events of the Parade, allowing them to grow their communication and teamwork skills, as well as earning community service hours.
